git2cl software package provides Simple tool to convert git logs to GNU ChangeLog format, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install git2cl
git2cl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the git2cl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep git2cl *
You will get with git2cl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
